Chancel
Behind the altar is the east window. This depicts the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus and is dedicated to the memory of Edward Tew and his wife, Sarah Susannah, of Crofton Hall. It dates from the late 19th Century. Against the south wall, next to the altar is a recess known as a piscena, where utensils used to be washed. High on the North and South walls are two hatchments, diamond shaped tablets displaying the coat of arms of the Wilson family. "Hatchment" comes from the word achievement.
