Font

On entering the church, you will see on your left a stone font in which, traditionally, baptisms are carried out. This font is in the traditional position, by the door. In it new members are baptised into the family of the Church.

There is also a portable font in the church. This is a recent addition. Its use allows everyone to see what happens in baptisms more clearly than with the older font.
