This is the community web site for the village of Crofton, Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

What is it? The aim is to provide a single web site where information about the village can be found.  Anything of interest to the village can be included.

Why? Lots of information about the village is available. If you know where to look. But can you find it when you need it? We want to make this site the first place that people turn to when they want to know about local services, groups and events.
Who is it for? This site is for everyone in the village. All non profit groups and organisations could have their own web pages, FREE OF CHARGE, whether they have the skills to produce it themselves or not. Tell us what you want to say and we'll help you publish it. Provide us with a link to a web site that you maintain and we'll make sure that people find it. Find out what you need to do here.

If you run a business, we could include you in our listing. Click here to find out what you need to do.

If you are looking for something to do, a place to go or just want to find out what's going on; this site will help.

Who is organising it? The site is maintained by All Saint's Church in association with Crofton Parish Council. But our job is only to provide the foundations. The contents must come from the people involved in the village. And that's where you come in. If you run or are a member of an organisation within the village, from a sports group, club or society, through to a business, you should be represented here and we'd like to hear from you.

If have any time to spare you could help us too! Click here to find out how.

Contacts We want to make it as easy as possible for you to get in touch with us. Click here for contact details.
Content advice We don't want to tell you too much about what you should put on your pages, otherwise they won't be yours! However, if you want some advice, including some does and don'ts, please click here
