After months of planning and development, the Crofton village web site was launched in the early hours of October 25th. With the objective of providing a central point of access for all information about the village, the site already contains a comprehensive set of information about Crofton and village activities.

Not all groups, businesses and organisations are represented on the site. But it isn't too late. If you are not already included, or if you are planning an event, which you want to have included in the village diary, then please contact the team. Contact details can be found here.
The web site grows!
There are already plans for further information to be added and the web site team hope that more ideas as to how the site can be developed will come from the people of the village. site launch hits the news
The launch of
the web site was featured on Ridings FM during a number of their
news bulletins on Saturday 26th October. The report centred on the
web site's community focus including the involvement of more than
twenty groups and organisations on the launch date. The basis of
the item was an interview which took place on Friday with web site
team member Val West. |
