· There are some rules to the gambling
licence that we must adhere to:
No more than 35% of the costs can be taken out of the
proceeds
Tickets must cost no more than £1 each
We must have a promoter printed on the
tickets
· We have gathered quotes on printing costs:
£45 for 1000 tickets from Printform
£45 for 2000 tickets from another
printing firm
It was agreed we would go for the 2000 tickets, as it
was
felt we had nothing to lose.
· It was suggested we hold a Hallowe’en party
to draw the raffle, with prizes left over from the gala to be used as fancy
dress prizes for the different age groups.
Paula to book Crofton Community Centre on 31st October,
6.30pm until 8.00pm. This gives us one month to sell the raffle
tickets in!
