3.    The treasurer’s report was read and discussed.

·       We have managed to raise just short of six thousand pounds this year.

·       We only broke even at the gala but we had lots of fun and raised awareness.

·       The Easter raffle is split over the two years due to the financial year.

·       Thanks were given to our treasurer for all her hard work.

4.    The elected members of the committee are:

·       Rob was elected as chair for another year.

·       Sharon was nominated as vice chair.

·       Paula was nominated as treasurer.

·       Helen was nominated as secretary.

5.    The date of the next meeting is 24th May 2004 in Shay Lane Primary School at 7.00pm.

6.    A.O.B:

·       Julian told the group that many skateparks are having their ramps stolen at the moment, so he recommends we use concrete.  He has all documentation in place now to be just put together, including the letters for tender.

·       Sharon asked everyone to try to get new people involved in our quest.

·       Duncan suggested sending another questionnaire out after the skatepark is completed.  It was agreed, including their views on the skatepark and our design for the next stage, with a costing.  It was felt that this may interest more of the community.

·       In this year’s gala we are walking in the procession and having our usual games stall.

·       Julian suggested we finalise the design and get it out for tender, to get the costings finalised.

Thanks were given to all, especially Paula and Rob.
