The Crofton Darby and Joan Club was first formed in 1954. Now over 50 years old, the club is still thriving, and meets every second Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm in the Crofton Working Men's Club.

The club raises funds from a £3.00 annual membership fee, and a 50p entry fee per visit (which covers the cost of a cup of tea/coffee and a cake).  Raffles are held each meeting, and there is a bric-a-brac stall offering bargains on clothing, books and general second hand items. We also have cake stalls and an annual gala.

The club provides varying forms of entertainment for its members, ranging from guest performers, games, bingo, quizzes, etc..  We also currently provide two one-day outings to the coast or country, and a Xmas meal is provided to finalise the year end.

We are always on the lookout for new entertainers at our meetings and anyone who is prepared to give us their time should contact  Mr T Rogers (860890).  A fee is generally paid to all entertainers.

We do have some availability for new members – the minimum age requirement being 55 years.
